Alfred Hitchcock Presents

Birds. By the score they circle round Seaburban, flash through her wake and continue cross-wind along the leeward face of the following wave. Over and over again they repeat themselves, flying in loose formation looking for a meal that constantly evades them for I have never seen one of them get anything out of the sea.

It a constant wonder to watch them fly impervious to that which rules my world. And when tormented by wind and waves longing to be free of their torments, the first thing that comes to my mind are the birds that thrive here.

That looks about right. When it’s hot out in the ocean, its foggy and wet on the Wet Coast. That means you’re on the right track, heading the right direction. Finally. Woohoo.
