When Sylvie talks, it’s best to listen. She reminded me that I should be wearing my sunglasses. Just so you know Sylvie, I was paying attention. And for the record, she was right.

Seeing my glasses, Sir Salty Not-To-Be-Left-Out immediately began rummaging lockers and drawers thinking, I suspect, that hidden somewhere on board were a pair of for him. I didn’t have the heart to tell him I didn’t bring along pair for him. Before he turned the cabin to shambles, I offered him mine.

He jumped at the chance and as I write, he’s luxuriating in the stifling heat outside beneath a glaring sun. But he’s looking good with his new / my old shades

In weather like today having a fellow partner would make the difference of the world.

Heavy weather conditions are great only when you have enough energy to enjoy it. I wish you the time of your life.
