Bomb-proof Boat Bread

Bomb-proof Boat Bread

And it’s outta here!!

Never fail, bomb-proof boat bread. Thank you Nancy and Mark.

Try this at home:
2 cups warm water
1 packet quick rise yeast
1/4 cup (heaping) brown sugar
2 tsp salt

Mix all the above

4 cups white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup oats

Mix the above.

Add wet ingredients to dry and knead adding flour as necessary so dough does not stick to fingers. Cover and let rise until it doubles in size (2-3 hours).

Knead again, form into loaves and place into greased and floured pan. Cover and let rise 1 hour.

Bake at 350 for approximately 35 minutes.
