Great Guns

Great Guns

Great Guns

For now, the getting is good and we go great guns, the gunnels awash.

Tomorrow, however, there will be the all too familiar wailing and pulling of hair as a ridge of high pressure will swallow us whole. At least there is no hope of dodging this one so what will be, will be.

The Capes Good Hope and Agulhas lie some 2500 miles and 20 days eastward, weather gods and fortune willing.

Fingers crossed our choice to ride the tops of the several lows churning away farther south will provide consistent fair winds that should help boost our daily runs to something more respectable than of late.
