Party Time

Any cause for a celebration aboard and a birthday is better cause than most.

Sensing a celebration, Salty had no problem getting into the spirit of things. He’s eyeballing my bowl of popcorn because it’s about 4 times the size of his. I don’t have the courage to divvy up the grog anything other than even-Steven as I’ve seen the way he goes after his fish.

Aside from popcorn and grog, I am deeply grateful and humbled by those that reached out to wish me happy birthday. They are a blessing and I feel them like a warm, comforting wind at my back.

Since it is my birthday ( and I’ll cry if I want to – I just had to get that in here somewhere ), I get to make a wish. Here it is:

I wish that your dreams and ambitions may be fuelled by helping hands, kind caring words and warm, comforting winds at your back. That and I will somehow be able to thank each and every one of you in person for helping me make this a reality.
