Relief

The day’s searing heat was quenched by these showers. It was calm enough to hear them coming: A soft patter of rain that spoke of relief. Thy could not come soon enough for me.

The sun at local noon as almost directly overhead. Some 85 degrees which explains why it packs such a punch. Soon, we’ll pass beneath it and instead of looking south for it, it will be north of us. Like,the crazy upside down stars, the sun lying north is an alien new world.
