Dr. Buster’s prescription for whatever ails you this evening: Take two parts SW’ly Swell at 12-15′, add one part S’ly wind wave at 6-8′, mix with 30 knot gusting 34 S wind. Shake well. Take externally. Repeat as required.

We are about to get get hit by the break in the SW’ly swell induced by the S’ly wind waves. How the boat shakes it off time and time again is a wonder. The other photo is a near miss.

We are reaching across the seas and doing well enough to consider it a strategy worth hanging onto as we are headed almost due east. It is not without peril as the swell and wind waves are forecast to increase and the current to turn against. Our out is to turn the reach into a run.

Tonight we will have the moon light our way home. It is something to look forward to as the skies are crystal clear.
