Tradewind Sunsets

Sunrises and sunsets are truly spectacular out here. Even more so when the entire show is for the sole benefit of one.

Back home, there’s always a crowd gathered to watch the sun slip below the horizon. It always seemed to me that the crowd somehow diminished the event as if there as only so much to go around. But out here, the crowds have thinned to one. Perhaps the sun and sky, realizing that in this particular vastness there is one paying particular attention, go to extra lengths.
